A person was taken to hospital after carbon monoxide was detected in a Whitehaven house.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was called when a carbon monoxide alarm was activated at home on Langdale Close.
Three fire engines attended the incident, at around 8.30am yesterday.
An occupant of the house was taken to hospital for precautionary checks and fire crews were at the scene for an hour.
