A woman from Kendal was taken to hospital after a crash on the A66 at Rheged.
Police were called at 8.50am today to a one-car collision on the A66 between Rheged Roundabout and junction 40 of the M6.
The car involved was a Mercedes AMG
The driver of the Mercedes, a man in his 40s from Kendal, was uninjured. A passenger in the car, a woman in her 20s from Kendal, was taken to Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle with minor injuries.
