Firefighters were called to a road collision at the Lillyhall Industrial Estate near Workington.
The collision involved two vehicles and two fire engines were called to the scene at around 12.50pm yesterday.
One casualty was cut from their from the vehicle by fire service personnel and left in the care of North West Ambulance Service.
Crews were in attendance for an hour and 20 minutes.
