Widnes Vikings are reported to have signed the Workington Town winger Brad Holroyd for next season.
Holroyd has been a stand-out player for the Cumbrians in League One where he is the leading try scorer.
Although said to be very happy at Derwent Park, Holroyd has found it difficult travelling up for regular training from his Lancashire home.
The former Leigh Centurions utility back had joined Town on a one-year contract.
A full back or winger, Holroyd actually scored his debut try against Town in the 1895 Cup last season.
He also spent a short spell last year on loan with Rochdale Hornets.
Previously he spent time in the St Helens Academy, playing in their Grand Final and represented his country at international level for the England Lions Under 19s.
The 20-year-old had previously played amateur rugby league with Crosfields and Leigh East.
