A teenager suffered a minor head injury after she was assaulted by a woman in Kendal.
It was reported that the girl was walking on a path near Hallgarth Park between 7.30pm and 8pm yesterday when the woman assaulted her.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
The woman is described as being in her 20s with blonde hair, of large build and wearing a pink top. The girl suffered a minor head injury.
