Egremont and Millom played the new formula double header in their National Conference League clash in South Cumbria.
When two teams have not met so far they can play for two points per half.
Egremont collected four having been 24-10 ahead at half-time and finished 47-14 winners.
They had opened-up a12-0 lead with tries by Brad Caine and Kieran Glen, both converted by Billy Thompson.
A try from Kiah McPherson, converted by Jordan Moyes got Millom on the scoresheet but Egremont added two more tries by the break from Jack Thompson and Quinn Wright, both converted by Billy Thompson.
Either side of half-time Niall Harris nipped in for two unconverted tries and at 14-24 Millom still had a chance.
But the West Cumbrians took control and proceeded to add tries from Matt Hutchins, Tom Horner, Adam Heal and Sam Appleby. Billy Thompson landed three conversions and a field goal.
This was the only game played in the Cumbria section of the National Conference regionalised competition.
