A man has been arrested following a burglary at a Workington convenience store.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place at round 7.45pm on Saturday at the Top Shop General Store in Salterbeck.
A man entered the store and went behind the counter in an attempt to take the till.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of burglary but has since been released under investigation.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in the area of Salterbeck at that time.
