Artists will be collaborating in Barrow as part of a project to coincide with COP26.

And people can meet with them, view their artwork, hear from speakers about climate change and share food around a bonfire at a free event on Saturday, November 13.

Extreme Views: Food, futures & biodiversity has been organised by Art Gene.

Lead artist Owen Griffiths will be joined by Dana Olărescu, Sam Ayre and Rhine Bernardino for the residency, based at Art Gene’s Allotment Soup: Isle of Walney Community Growing Space, with Art Gene’s artist/directors Maddi Nicholson and Stuart Bastik.

Artists tours and climate talks start from 1pm, while food and fire will start from 6pm.
