
A man has been given a curfew after three shoplifting offences in Whitehaven.
Lawrence Wilson, of College Street in the town, was found guilty of all three offences on November 8.
The 33-year-old received a four-week electronically monitored curfew, a 12-month community order, was ordered to pay £50 in compensation and was ordered to complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Copeland neighbourhood policing team successfully applied for a criminal behaviour order with conditions preventing him from entering any store in Whitehaven, which is a member of the shop watch scheme or any store displaying the Whitehaven shop watch symbol.
