Strong entry for Flimby homing show

Flimby Homing Society again enjoyed a strong entry for their latest show in the winter series.

Jason Dempsey had 84 young cocks to judge in a class which was sponsored by Richard Hodgson.

He gave tickets to: 1, Rushforth and Hunter; 2, 3, Bromley and co; 4, Williams and Hadfield; 5, Blacklock and sons; 6, Nelson and Crellin; 7, McLuckie bros; 8, R. Hodgson.

Wednesday’s show is for young hens with judging at 7-30pm.

Workington Victoria’s show for old hens had 65 entries which were judged by Tom and Andrew Kenmare.

They gave tickets to: 1, 6, J. and A. Edgar; 2, 5, Rushforth and Hunter; 3, Varty, son and grandson; 4, A. Hayton; 7, Evans and Abraham; 8. M. and L. Cape.

The show was sponsored by J. and A. Edgar with specials from the judges and Northern Trophies.

Friday’s show is for young cocks, with judging at 7.30pm.
