
A man has been charged following an attempted dog-napping in Carlisle.
It is reported that two men tried to take the animal from the victim on Raffles Parade at around 3.15pm on Thursday.
A woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s suffered minor injuries.
Joseph Malloy, 31, of Dalton Avenue, Carlisle, was charged in connection with attempt robbery, assault by beating and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear unlawful violence.
