
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after an alleged attack in Ulverston.
Police are probing an assault that is said to have happened at around 4.50pm yesterday on Brogden Street.
The victim, a man in his thirties from Ulverston, has sustained injuries to his face after being repeatedly punched by two male suspects.
The suspects have been described as two males aged 15-20 both with brown hair, one being a slim build and the other slightly bigger build and both wearing dark clothing.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released under investigation.
Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have any information.
