Barrow Raiders’ trip to Bradford on Sunday has been called off.

Following an official RFL pitch inspection at Odsal Stadium on Friday afternoon, it was deemed that the pitch was waterlogged.

The affects of Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice have been spread widely across the country and the Odsal pitch had fared badly.

No details surrounding a date for a rearranged fixture have been declared but will be in due course and travelling Barrow fans haven been reminded that all tickets purchased for the game will be valid for the rearranged date.

Barrow Raiders are next in action on Sunday, February 27 in the Challenge Cup away to League One side Rochdale Hornets.

The tie will take place at the Hornets’ Crown Oil Arena with kick-off at 3:00pm.

The Hornets overcame amateur side Lock Lane 28-12 last weekend to book their place in the fourth round of the competition.

A total of 10 ties will be played on Sunday February 27 and Monday February 28 with Barrow’s county neighbours Workington Town and Whitehaven also in action.

Town have an all-Championship game at home to Dewsbury while Whitehaven will travel to League One side Doncaster, with all games on the Sunday.
