
A Carlisle road has reopened after a collapsed chimney stack forced its closure this morning.
London Road was shut after a chimney stack collapsed and left dangerously positioned debris on the roof.
Using an aerial ladder platform, firefighters from Carlisle East Fire Station removed the bricks, masonry and tiles from the roof.
The road has now reopened.
