Workington Town face a battle to have their Derwent Park pitch fit for Sunday’s Challenge Cup game with Dewsbury.
A club video shows the amount of water that covered the playing surface on Sunday morning after the Championship game with Halifax Panthers had been called off.

The pitch had been declared playable early in the morning after an official RFL inspection, and Halifax were given the go-ahead to travel.
But as weather conditions worsened, with rain and gale-force winds, the club’s Ground Safety Officer Andrew Hardcastle made the right call to put off the game.
Horrendous weather, which had worsened through the morning, endangered the safety of players and spectators.
Derwent Park was left more like Derwentwater, although appeared to be free of most surface water over the following 24 hours.
The problem ground staff have, however, ahead of the weekend is the weather forecast which suggests Workington will be subject to heavy rain, and even some snow, before Dewsbury are due in town.
Dewsbury played last night in the televised Championship game in which they lost 36-10 at home to Widnes Vikings.
They have won one of their four games so far, while Town still have to open their account after three games.
