
A shopkeeper gave chase through the streets of Keswick after a woman stole four rings from her shop on Main Street.
Police say the incident happened just after noon yesterday and are seeking help in tracing the suspect. She is described as being white, in her late teens to early 20s and around 5ft 6ins tall.
She has brown hair and was wearing a stripy bobble hat and dark red puffa-style jacket. Police wish to hear from anyone with information that could assist.
