Carlisle United said it was extremely disappointed about the increasing break-ins at the ground.
The club has been targeted by a series of break-ins in the last fortnight, with the Blues now appealing for the public’s help after doors and equipment were damaged.
A statement from the club said: “Sadly, we also have to report that all of the Xboxes, used by our younger fans on a matchday, have been taken from the Family Zone.
“This weekend reached a new low with two more break-ins, where concourse concessions were ransacked, a brand-new concourse TV was stolen and the distinctive golf buggy used by our grounds staff was stolen, driven up Warwick Road and dumped in the river.
“The damage is now running into thousands of pounds. We can see from CCTV footage that the alarms are being activated, but the damage is still being done.
“The site is large, open, with numerous public footpaths and a variety of entry points, and we cannot fully prevent access or entry.
“We have no alternative at present but to spend cash on further heightened security – to have a presence overnight and every weekend. It goes without saying this is something we could do without.”
The club thanked all those who have offered to replace damaged and stolen items. The Cumbrians thanked the Carlisle United Official Supporters Club and Unita Fortior for their generous donations.
