
A motorcyclist who died following a two-vehicle crash on Wigton Road in Carlisle has been formally identified.
Jason Farmer, 33, of Carlisle, died at the scene of the collision, which involved a Suzuki motorcycle and an orange Ford Transit van.
The road was closed for several hours while a forensic collision investigation was conducted.
Anyone with any information or who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Sergeant 1962 Vickers or PC 2414 Brockbank on 101 – or email SCIU@cumbria.police.uk quoting log 129 of March 21.
