Cumbria Cricket League has four clubs competing this coming season in the ECB National Club Championship competition.
Unfortunately all four of them have been drawn away in the preliminary round of the competition on April 24.
Whitehaven have the shortest trip, as they will still be playing in Cumbria, travelling to play Kendal to take on Netherfield who finished third in the Northern League last season.
Furness, the 2021 Cumbria League Premier Division champions also have Northern League opposition and they will travel to Lancaster, runners-up to Blackpool last year.
Workington will be on the road to Leigh who finished third last season in the Liverpool and District League.
Dalton, the fourth of the county sides involved, will be playing at Wigan who are also members of the Liverpool and District League and last season finished seventh of 12.
The National Club championship has been running since 1969 and is currently sponsored by Royal London.
The Royal London Club Championship is a straight knockout competition with the final being played in September. The date and venue will be announced later but is almost certain to be at a County Championship ground.
