Comedian Bobby Davro and The X-Factor’s Stevi Ritchie are set to perform at the Sands Centre this Easter Monday in The Wizard of Oz.
During the April school holidays, Enchanted Entertainment will be bringing an Easter pantomime production of The Wizard of Oz to Carlisle with an all-star cast including Bobby Davro as Scarecrow and Carlisle favourite Stevi Ritchie as Tin Man, alongside local children playing the loveable Munchkins.
Producer Jezz Weatherall said: “We’re really looking forward to visiting Carlisle during the Easter holidays with this fantastic show. It’s got a great cast of TV stars as well as a spectacular team of professional actors, singers and dancers. We know how popular our Easter pantomimes have been in previous years and we’re so pleased to be back on the road again after a two-year wait.”
Enchanted Entertainment will be bringing this fantastic family production to the Sands Centre on Easter Monday. The cast features a host of top-quality performers including panto comedy legend and former Dancing on Ice contestant Bobby Davro as the Scarecrow, The X-Factor and Celebrity Big Brother favourite Stevi Ritchie making his third panto appearance at the Sands as the Tin Man; and social media sensation Karen The Mam’s Lewis Denny as the Cowardly Lion.
Director Guy Pascall said: “It’s going to be great fun for all the family – everyone remembers such characters as the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man who needs a heart.
“This show will take the original story written by L Frank Baum and give it a hilarious panto twist.
“The Wizard of Oz tour will be a wonderful family production, bringing together a top cast, amazing costumes, high-octane dance routines with a group of talented local youngsters playing the Munchkins, and plenty of popular songs to please all ages!”
