Carlisle man accused of burgling city home while equipped with knife

A Carlisle man has appeared in court charged with burgling £100 from a city home while equipped with a knife.

Nicholas Ronald Graham faced magistrates in Carlisle on April 16.

He faced one charge that alleges he burgled a property on Allandale Road in Carlisle on April 13 and a second alleging he assaulted an on-duty paramedic a day later.

Graham, of Sewell Road in Carlisle, did not enter a plea.

The 40-year-old will appear before Carlisle Crown Court on May 13.

He was remanded in custody until that date.
