
Motorcycle group members across Cumbia have raised more than £2,000 for Carlisle’s James Rennie School.
The cash will be put towards a new playground for the school
The fundraising was co-ordinated by the Devils Disciples Cumbria chapter and members visited the school to hand it over.
Members of Devils Disciples MC Cumbria, Devils Disciples MC North Cumbria, Liviathan MCC and the all the members of the Cumbria coalition of motorcycle clubs raised the cash.
Devils Disciples MC Cumbria have being donating to James Rennie School since 1992 and normally donates funds to help towards Easter eggs for the children, and teachers.
A spokesman said: “This is our biggest donation so far! A special thank you to every one involved and a special thanks to Kelly Louise Cole, Tasha Cole, Amanda Vernon, Nic Hewitt for helping with the raffle.”
