
Two people have been arrested following assaults of two men at a Carlisle taxi rank.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at the taxi rank opposite Carlisle Railway Station, which happened at about 3.20am on Saturday.
Two people were injured. Police arrested two men, aged 23 and 49, both from Carlisle, on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm,
Both have been released under investigation.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
