A Wigton car park transformed itself into a foodie paradise as Taste Cumbria came to town.
Local traders, a stage and children’s rides took over Water Street car park for the first Taste Cumbria event of the year.
Chefs, including Cumbria Crack’s Harrison Ward – otherwise known as the Fell Foodie – and Wigton’s own John Crouch demonstrated dishes and there was also a young entrepreneurs’ market as part of the offering.
Hundreds of people attended in the sunshine to pick up goodies including fresh waffles, olive oil, brownies, cheese, pies and other delights from traders.
There were even treats for your four legged friends at the Doggy Deli.
