Carlisle man charged with three counts of criminal damage and knife possession

A man has been charged following reports of criminal damage to parked vehicles in Keswick.

Officers received a report at around 1pm yesterday (April 25) of tyres being damaged in the car park on Lake Road and in a supermarket car park on Tithebarn Street, Keswick.

Roland Armstrong, 65, of Margaret Creighton Gardens, Carlisle has been charged with three counts of criminal damage and possessing a knife blade in a public place.

He is to appear before magistrates in Carlisle on May 10.
