A woman has been arrested after she allegedly assaulted a man with a shovel in Carlisle.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a female was witnessed assaulting a man with a shovel on Woodrouffe Terrace, Carlisle, at about 9pm on April 14.
The man was uninjured.
A 36-year-old woman from Workington was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and has since been released on police bail.
