Midfielder Robbie Gotts virtually cleaned up at Barrow’s end of season awards night with a collection of trophies.
Gotts, 22, was rewarded for an outstanding season despite Barrow’s travails in League Two, with four trophies.
He was both the Players’ and Fans’ Player of the Year and also was named BBC Radio Cumbria Player of the Year and the Bluebirds Trust Player of the Year.
Gotts had signed from Leeds United at the end of August and has produced a series of stand-out performances as the Bluebirds eventually steered clear of the drop zone.
Gotts was the clear winner of the Fans’ Player of the Year award and also got the most votes from his team-mates to win the coveted Players’ Player award.
Ollie Banks won the club’s 2021/22 Goal of the Season award for a stunning free kick during the astonishing FA Cup tie against Barnsley at Oakwell in January, while the skipper also won the National Supporters’ Club’s Player of the Year prize.
Frazer Stewart was unveiled as the Club Man of the Year for his extraordinary voluntary efforts behind the scenes, while Chris Altree received an award to thank him for his brilliant work as Supporter Liaison Officer for the past two seasons.
