Staff from a Whitehaven pub had to be evacuated after a fire broke out last night.
Three fire crews were called in to tackle the blaze at Barra Jacks, on James Street, at around 6.10pm.
The fire involved a fridge in the premises.
The area was sealed off by police while firefighters extinguished the blaze. They were on the scene for around 50 minutes.
The pub will be closed until further notice. A message from the business on Facebook thanked everyone for their kind messages and said they would be open as soon as possible.
