Three players from Monday’s tough clash between Barrow and Halifax face lengthy bans.
An ugly incident in the second-half saw Panthers players Greg Worthington and Titus Gwaze both sent off while Raiders centre Hakim Miloudi was sin-binned.
All three have been charged though it is Gwaze who is likely to receive the most severe punishment, despite not being involved in the initial incident.
The forward has been handed a Grade F charge for Other Contrary Behaviour, which carries a normal sentence of eight matches at a minimum. Gwaze was dismissed for picking up Miloudi after he went down injured.
Miloudi himself was the subject of an eight-match ban for a similar offence earlier in the season.
Worthington, who was sent off for punching Miloudi after an infringement in the tackle, has received a Grade D charge which carries a charge of three to five games.
Miloudi will also be banned after being cited for headbutting. It has been deemed a Grade B level, which will result in a one-match ban.
Despite spending most of the second-half with eleven men, Halifax out-scored Barrow to win 43-18 and cement their place in the play-offs.
Fax are currently fifth, three points clear of Paul Crarey’s Raiders.
Gwaze’s and Worthington’s cases will be heard by a tribunal.
