Workington Town have bolstered their squad with two more loan signings.
Chris Thorman has landed two good young players from Wigan Warriors who will be available for Sunday’s home game with Widnes Vikings.
Jack Bibby and Toby Brannan are joining the Town squad on loan for two weeks, linking up with two other loan recruits from Catalan Dragons.
Bibby, 20, who played one game on loan with Whitehaven early in the season, is part of the Warriors train on squad and a key player in the Reserves this year.
An England Youth international, Bibby progressed through Wigan’s Scholarship and Academy system as captain.
He had also played two games on loan with Oldham in 2021 when he scored a try. Brannan, 20, is said to be an exciting middle forward who joined Wigan at 17 and has progressed through the scholarship system to be a key member of the current reserve squad.

Earlier in the season he had a short spell on loan with League One new boys Cornwall.
Town have expressed their thanks to Matty Peet and Darrell Goulding at Wigan for their assistance in completing the loan and also to the Blue Knights Support Group for helping to make it happen.
They will join winger Romain Franco and prop Florian Vailhen in the squad after the Catalans’ switch to West Cumbria.
