A man has died following a collision on the A596.
Police were called at 5:35am this morning, August 21, to a report of a collision at Bank End, near Thursby.
The collision involved a Silver Ford MPV and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a local 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Formal identification has not yet taken place.
The road was closed for a number of hours while a forensic collision investigation was conducted. It has since been reopened.
