Police launch probe after cars race on Ullswater shore

Police are appealing for information as part of an investigation into the report of two vehicles committing a number of driving offences.

Yesterday, August 21, police received a report of two vehicles;  a Land Rover Discovery and a second vehicle, believed to be a blue Volvo, driving on the Ullswater shore.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, in front of a large number of people.

Police would like to hear from any members of the public who witnesses this incident, anyone with video or dashcam footage of the incident or the two vehicles in the area, or anyone who can identify the vehicles.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it or call 101.

To report information anonymously, contact the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The incident reference number to include with any report is log 101 of the 20th of August.
