A Napier family double. Grace with Foxparke Beep Beep and Ellie with Foxparke Mysteriously.

Rusland staged a quick follow-up meeting to Saturday’s Show trails, and there was a reversal in the opening seniors race.

Raymond and Glenis Farren’s Jenny’s Oracle had been beaten into second place by Miterdale Duchess at the weekend but this time came home ahead of her rival.

Ned’s Gain was successful in the pups, repeating his victory from Saturday and which put him 10 behind the long-time table leaders Huntsman’s Rebel.

The open maiden race went to Ashley Horn’s Intensity who beat Zack and Jake Green’s Green Flyer while in the last race Ian Bell’s Howgill Meg stepped-up a grade from the weekend success to take the open restricted from Lilly.

Darren McMaster with Martha winner of the Senior Hounds at Tallentire.

The trails at Tallentire Hill last night had three races, two of them won by the Napier family.

In the pups Foxparke Beep Beep showed with a good lead but as she came up the hill the sheep ran her off and she had to put in a large loop before getting back on the trail. She was still able to get home in front of Silver Streak.

The Napier’s double was completed by Foxparke Mysteriously who won the open maiden trail from Lisa Whitfield’s Black Edition.

The meeting had opened with 13 runners contesting the senior trail in which Martha and Jenny’s Quest came onto the finish together. It was Martha who kept on well up the hill to win for Nicola and Darren McMaster, of Dearham.
