Cleator Moor Celtic produced a remarkable recovery to earn three precious North West Counties League points.

They had been 3-0 down at half-time but in a stirring fight-back clinched a 4-3 victory to move to 13th in the First Division North table.

It puts them in good heart for their next trip on Saturday to fifth in the table AFC Blackpool.

Although Garstang had built-up a three goal lead by half-time the feeling in the Celtic camp was that they were still in with a chance.

They had fallen behind on 15 minutes when Zac Clarke scored and John Jo Morris made it 2-0 after 27 minutes.

The third goal came in the fifth minute of time added on and again it was Clarke who found the net.

To get back into the contest Celtic needed a quick goal and they got that five minutes after the re-start through Josh Charlton.

There was a real positivity about the hosts in the second-half and when Luke Ivison grabbed a second goal on 66 minutes it was very much game on.

Celtic really fancied their chances to go and win when Thomas Ward fired them level 15 minutes from the end. Indeed two minutes later Charlton popped-up with a fourth for Celtic which ultimately proved to be the winner.
