The secretary of the Cumberland Show has stepped down after eight years.
Jill Dunglinson has been at the helm of the Cumberland Show since taking up the position in 2014 and has helped to steer the show through a number of challenges – her time has spanned eight years, six shows, three venues and a two-year pandemic!
Operations secretary and previous show chairwoman Gillian Potts said: “The committee cannot thank Jill enough for all of her hard work and dedication to the show.
“She has worked closely and built fantastic relationships with all areas of the show including our exhibitors, traders, sponsors, suppliers and visitors and will be hugely missed by all.”
Jill said: “I am so proud to have been such a big part of a fantastic county show like the Cumberland and to have worked with all the amazing people involved in making it one of the best days of the year. It’s so hard to pick a single highlight as there have been so many.”
