The Westmorland Orchestra is preparing for its next concert.
Rehearsals have begun for Northern Lights, which will be performed in December under the baton of conductor Richard Howarth.
The concert will have a Scandinavian theme, with pieces by the Danish composer Carl Nielsen and the Finnish 20th century composer Einojuhani Rautavaari. It will be rounded off by the exciting, powerful and much-loved first symphony of Jean Sibelius.
The concert is at 3pm on Saturday December 3 at Kendal Leisure Centre. More information and tickets are available at www.WestmorlandOrchestra.org.uk
