A 232-acre livestock farm is on the market for £1.5 million.
Sleetbeck Farm, around 10-and-a-half miles from Longtown, is being sold by H&H Land and Estates, as a whole or in three lots.
- Lot 1, with a guide price of £830,000, includes the six-bedroom farmhouse, farm steading and 76.95 acres of land.
- Lot 2, is 60 acres of mowing and grazing land, split across four fields and it is being offered with a guide price of £270,000.
- Lots 3, guided at £400,000, includes 95.5 acres of quality grazing land, rough grazing and woodland.
Emma Smith, chartered surveyor at H&H Land & Estates, said, “There continues to be a high demand for farms and land, and I would expect that for Sleetbeck Farm we will receive interest from both investors and those looking to expand their own farming enterprise and livestock production.
“The farm is a traditional Cumbrian livestock farm, and the land is in good order. Subject to the relevant planning regulations the traditional buildings have the potential for both development and diversification opportunities.”
Surrounded by lawns and mature trees, the six-bedroom Grade II Listed stone farmhouse has many original features and offers extensive living space across three floors. Next to the house are a range of the outbuildings set around a stone courtyard, including kennels, loose boxes, stables and stone stores.
The farm buildings, forming the farm steading include the original dairy, cubicle sheds, slurry tower, milking shed, concrete yards, and stone built animal housing.
