
Police are appealing for more information after a man was left injured on a Workington road in the early hours.
The man was found at around 2.30am on Harrington Road on Sunday, October 30, with facial injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been released.
Police said their enquiries so far have led them to believe that the man may have been struck by a vehicle which failed to stop.
The vehicle involved may be damaged as a wing mirror was recovered from the scene.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed anything or who has any information which may help.
