A man is set to appear in court this morning in connection with a stabbing in Barrow over the weekend.
Darren Knowles, 49, of Anson Street in Barrow has been charged with wounding with intent; attempted wounding with intent; breach of a non-molestation order and possession of a bladed article.
The incident happened on Dalkeith Street in the early hours of Sunday.
Knowles has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Barrow Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed what occurred , or anyone who has information which may assist, to get in touch.
