Workington Sunday League champions Northside were in top form for their latest clash with Salterbeck.

They finished 8-1 winners with goals from Tommy Whitehead (2), Jaden Scott, Adam Kilgour, Kyle Graham, Jack Wilson, Stefan Scott and Jake Wright. Nathan Brash was on target for Salterbeck.

Top scorers, however, were Blue Bell who beat Seaton Rangers 12-4 in a goal feast to maintain their three point lead over the champions.

Carl Denver led the way by scoring five and there was a hat-trick for Tom Powell. Also on the mark were Tom Hutton, Steve Maxwell, Grant Quayle and Cody Benson.

Seaton had their moments, though, and replied through Dom McKee (2), Jack Reid and Dan Graham.

The other two games on Sunday were much tighter affairs, particularly in Aspatria where Sun Inn Athletic beat Rangers 2-1. Dan Dobson and Louie Elliott scored the goals for the home side with Liam Williamson netting for Rangers.

In the other game Senhouse Street were 5-3 winners at Flimby through goals from Josh Partridge (3), Ryan Killett and Adam Slattery. Flimby kept in the contest with replies from Lazo Rayner (2) and Brandon Birks.

It was Senhouse’s first win of the season to leave Seaton Rangers as the only side still to open their account.
