Cumbria Crack’s Fell Foodie has a TV date this week as he is set to appear on a popular Channel 5 show.
Fell Foodie, whose real name is Harrison Ward, will feature on Channel 5’s Winter On The Farm on Wednesday.
Fellow Cumbrian Helen Skelton, who has been putting her dancing shoes on for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, will join Jules Hudson and farmers Rob and Dave Nicholson every night from today until Thursday for the special show live from Cannon Hall Farm.
Harrison, of Ambleside, said: “I was absolutely delighted to be asked to take part in this show on Channel 5, it has an array of passionate viewers and shines a light on an industry that is so integral to our county of Cumbria.”
He was approached to take part in the episode after becoming a familiar face in Cumbria. Harrison opened up on social media in 2018 about his struggles with obesity and alcohol addiction.
Harrison added: “I was joined by the wonderful Dr Amir Khan as we took a hike through Grizedale Forest on a typically Cumbrian day.

“Of course, I made sure there was some freshly prepared grub at the summit to warm us back up! Thanks to all my family, friends, and supporters for their continued support. I’d love it if you could tune in!”
Harrison’s episode will air on Channel 5 at 8pm on Wednesday, December 7. The episode will then be available on My5.
