Last night Workington’s NPL West clash at Borough Park against Bootle fell victim to the freezing conditions.

In the Northern League both Penrith and Carlisle City confirmed their worst fears when their games were postponed.
Penrith were due to travel to Thornaby while City had West Allotment Celtic as visitors.
In West Cumbria, Windscale’s Wearside League game against Darlington RA was off while Whitehaven’s trip to Fulwood in the West Lancashire League was also postponed.
