Carl Forber has made another piece of history at Workington Town.
As the 16th inductee to the club’s Hall of Fame, he is the first current squad member to be bestowed the honour.
Forber has signed a new deal for 2023 and is looking forward to adding to his already impressive record-breaking list for Town.
He is already the club’s top points scorer of all time with 2,117 to his name and those have come in 323 appearances which started in his first spell at the club in 2007.
Forber began his career with St Helens in 2004 and played two Super League games before linking-up with Leigh Centurions.
He then played at Town from 2007 until 2009 before joining Blackpool Panthers and then Oldham.

He returned to Derwent Park in 2012 and has been part of the furniture ever since.
Iain McCorquodale’s points scoring record had stood for 40 years until Forber went past it – and has continued to add to an incredible total.
