Jack Streeton seems very likely to stay with Carlisle United to complete his season-long loan deal from Derby County.
County head coach Paul Warne is on record now as saying that he is not “strongly considering” recalling Stretton.
Indeed Warne seems happy with the way that Carlisle have used the 21-year-old forward in his time at Brunton Park.
Stretton, who has scored twice for the Blues and has featured regularly when fit, could be recalled in January.
But ahead of their fixture with Forest Green Warne said: “I think he’s doing well. He’s scoring goals and playing games then realistically if I’m to bring him back and not to play him then he’s developing better playing games without a shadow of a doubt.”
As well as Stretton Derby have Polish international Krystian Bielik on loan at Birmingham under a similar arrangement who could be recalled in January. Both seem very likely to see out the remainder of their loan deals.
