Barrow boss Pete Wild believes he could have up to five new faces in the squad by the end of January.
He was speaking after a frustrating o-o home draw with Rochdale who had lost their last five games.
Barrow, who have slipped out of the play-off places, have now gone six games themselves without a win.
Wild has already announced the signing of Elliot Newby from Stockport and says a second new recruit will be revealed on Thursday.
The manager said: “It’s possible we could have up to five by the end of the window but that could be offset by outgoings.
“We have 15 players out of contract at the end of the season so that could affect our thinking if any offers come in.
“It was frustrating to draw this latest game but I still think there were a number of positives we can take. The clean sheet was certainly one of them.”
Third choice keeper Scott Moloney made his League debut and had a relatively trouble free afternoon apart from a late free-kick from Danny Lloyd which he pushed to safety.
Barrow probably had their best moments in the final quarter when Billy Waters fired wide from a good position and Richie Bennett wasn’t far away with a shot from long-range.
