Kendal Town will be holding a special reunion day for former players next month.
Anyone who played for the club’s first team (Netherfield or Kendal Town) are being invited to attend the game with Litherland on March 11.
Club chairman Michael O’Neill said: “It’s all about re-engaging with people who have played for the club over the years.
“We have a happy hour arranged for them before kick-off and it will be great to see lads who have played for the club over the years.
“We are also putting together a Kendal Legends team and have a special match arranged in May for them.
“Hopefully it will be against a Preston North End Legends team and May 7 has been aside for it.
“We want to encourage ex-players, and former fans, to come back to the club and be part of what we are trying to do at Kendal Football Club.”
After their relegation from the Northern Premier League, and the discovery of more debts than anticipated, the club committee has done a sound job in stabilising things.
With the debts being dramatically reduced and the team climbing to the top half of the North West Counties Premier Division O’Neill is looking to a big finish to the season.
He said: “The 3-0 home defeat to Avro on Tuesday was a setback but they were the best organised team I’ve seen this season.
“We are still on course for a top half finish and have two Cup competitions to look forward to.
“We have Avro at home again in the quarter final of the Macron Cup and have Milnthorpe Corinthians, our manager Jimmy Marshall’s old club, in the semi-final of the Westmorland County Cup.
“So there’s plenty to look forward to, including another home game tomorrow against Lower Breck.”
