A Lake District hotel has been given a top foodie accolade for the fifth year in a row.
Briery Wood Country House Hotel, at Windermere, has retained its double AA Rosette status, awarded by inspectors in recognition of culinary excellence and exceptional customer service.
Head chef Jamie Hopkins said: “Retaining double AA rosette status is a testament to the team’s dedication, passion and culinary skill. We are always looking to improve and try new things and we have some exciting developments launching in 2023.”
Hotel manager Paul Muresan added: “We pride ourselves on our warm hospitality, we want our guests to really get to know our team and feel like part of the family.
“Everyone works extremely hard to meet and exceed our guests expectations throughout their stay and this award recognises all that effort.”
