A man has died in a Carlisle house fire.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was called at around 3.05pm to Buchanan Road to tackle the blaze.
Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform attended the incident.
The fire service said: “Sadly, we can confirm the death of a man at the property. Alongside Cumbria police, a fire investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the incident.”
