
A 53-year-old man has been seriously injured in a Barrow collision.
The man, a pedestrian, was involved in the collision with a silver Land Rover Freelancer on Island Road, outside the Co-op yesterday at 5.30pm.
He was to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Land Rover was uninjured.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen either the pedestrian or the silver vehicle to contact Cumbria police by emailing sciu@cumbria.police.uk and quoting log number 196.
