
A 16-year-old boy is set to appear in court following an incident in Barrow.
The boy was arrested by Cumbria police after the incident, on Saturday, on Lesh Lane.
The youngster, who cannot be named because he is under 18, was charged with:
- Attempted wounding
- Threats to kill
- Threaten with a bladed article in a public place
- Criminal damage
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Barrow Magistrates on April 18.
A Cumbria police spokesman said: “Please note that criminal proceedings are ongoing. Police would ask that the public do not speculate on the circumstances of an incident.”
